Albert Heijn Deals
HvA/Albert Heijn: Project Interaction
Assignment - individual: During this project, I worked on designing a solution for Albert Heijn. Albert Heijn sells a lot of (non-food) deals alongside groceries, which are often great deals. Customers order these via the deals platform deals.ah.nl. The assortment is promoted in the bonus flyer, newsletters, the AH website, and app, as well as in-store. In the store, you often find a stand (poster) near the entrance and exit with the deals and printed leaflets with a barcode. The goal of this project is to digitize those stands (posters) and leaflets to create a paperless store.
Design Challenge:
“How can Albert Heijn make the deals.ah.nl platform a better and more integral part of the customer journey through a digital, paperless solution?”
New situation: Ordering kiosk

The product:
Order the deals through Albert Heijn's brand-new ordering kiosk! The ordering kiosk serves as an interactive product as well as a prominent stand-up display (instead of paper). This ensures that the deals stand out even more in the store. To further inspire customers about the deals, there is also an advertisement for the deals in the AH app. When customers click on it, they are directed to the deals.ah.nl website. At the ordering kiosk, customers can view and order the deals right away.
